چکیده
Alpha Lipoic Acid, or thioctic acid, is a sulfur-containing fatty acid compound that acts as a coenzyme and an antioxidant. It is called a “universal antioxidant” because of its potent ability to neutralize a wide range of free radicals. Recent studies suggest that alpha lipoic acid may improve situations in the body involving free radicals, such as heart disease and cancer, and other disorders associated with inflammation and aging. The uses and benefits of alpha lipoic acid are numerous, making it an important nutrient for maintaining and regaining health in the 21 century.
